Stop the Government of War Criminals!

Statement of the Second Congress of the Workers’ Communist Party of Denmark (APK), April 2003

Anders Fogh Rasmussen and his government have chained Denmark to the global empire building of US imperialism and to globalisation, which are being carried out by military force and all kinds of economic, political and propagandistic means.
At the same time, his government has been working for the interests of US imperialism during the further construction of the EU, which has its own superpower ambitions.

By participating in the occupation of Afghanistan, by declaring war against Iraq and actively participating in a criminal war against a country, which did not pose any threat to Denmark, the government of Fogh Rasmussen has turned Denmark into an aggressor country and occupying power with the purpose of ensuring Danish monopolies the crumbs from the lootings of the big robbers.
This is the real content of the "global involvement" and "international peace keeping" of the Danish state. This is the small thief doing the dirty work of the big thieves.

The second congress of the APK notes that Denmark has a government of war criminals, and that a small parliamentary majority voted for a war crime.
This government, based on the Liberals, the Conservatives and the dark and, if possible, even more warlike Danish People’s Party, is among the most reactionary governments in Europe. It has lost its legitimacy and must be forced to leave.

Fogh Rasmussen’s government is not only sending young Danish soldiers to war for oil and other booty for the monopolies, but it is also sending the bill for the war adventures to the workers and the broad population. Fogh Rasmussen’s wars and “international involvement” are being paid with social cuts, decreasing real wages, mass unemployment, and worsened living conditions in general for the great majority.
Special targets of the battue and smear campaigns of the dark government are refugees and immigrants, unemployed people and others receiving transfer incomes.

Fogh Rasmussen is in full swing with the realisation of the reactionary dream about the "minimal state". In a few years, he has transformed the Danish state into a minimal and rogue state that takes from the poor and generously gives to the rich.

Instead of the imperialist and neoliberal policy of Fogh Rasmussen’s government and the parliamentary opposition, the working class and the great majority put forward their own programme of struggle against imperialism, war, crisis and reaction:

Peace policy instead of looting wars!
Housing and welfare instead of missiles! Education and books instead of bombs!
Neither a man nor a cent for the imperialist war!
Denmark out of NATO! No to the missile defence shield!
Close the Thule base! The US out of Greenland!
Denmark out of the EU! No to the “United States of Europe”!

Social rearmament! Military disarmament!
Stop the social cuts, privatisations and competitive biddings for the benefit of the monopolies!
Stop mass unemployment! Create new jobs!
Restore and improve social benefits and the rights of unemployed people! Improve the retirement pension!
Let the rich pay the crisis!
